The Department of Energy hosted PP&A to present on energy, innovation, and blockchain. Covering topics such as blockchain technology overview, implications to the energy value chain, current types of use cases seen in the energy space, and implications for government organizations. In addition the session explored benefits and issues surrounding the technology with a particular focus on energy-related topics. With a focus on utility, participants looked to gather insight into how the technology works and how they might apply the technology in their respective areas.
