Responding to the client's objectives, PP&A took the helm of a project team, investigating the deployment of AI and ML software platforms within the client's targeted sectors. We crafted a comprehensive research initiative, leveraging insights from top IT and AI/ML decision-makers across these industries. Our study delved into their current AI/ML usage, organizational maturity in employing AI/ML, and future deployment aspirations. Additionally, we evaluated the role of breakthrough technologies like generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) in their decision-making processes as they expand their in-house AI/ML capabilities.

PP&A delivered a study of how enterprises in healthcare, retail, entertainment, banking and finance, and manufacturing deploy AI and ML platforms. It mapped deployment patterns and prioritized use cases by sector, defined the maturity stages organizations pass through as they adopt AI/ML, and covered how buyers budget for AI/ML development. It also set out the capabilities and topics most relevant to the client's platform, and how executives view generative AI and large language models, including current uses, risks and benefits.

The maturity stages gave the client a roadmap for engaging prospects according to where each one stands. The findings informed how the client aligned its sales strategy with customer maturity and which capabilities it planned in line with customer aspirations.
